Two weeks ago, we went on our annual Seeing Eye puppy tour of Newark Airport. It's a great experience for the pups and we always have fun too.
We get to see the emergency vehicles at the airport and we walk around one of them while the sirens are blaring -- a great experience for our puppies to have to behave with lots of noise and commotion. At past visits, we've even seen the airport dogs at work demonstrating how they sniff things out. After our walk around the blaring sirens, we boarded a bus to the Continental terminal. It's amazing how there can be about 20 dogs on a bus with no barking. All the pups are sitting nicely tucked under the seats.
We walked around the terminal and then boarded a Continental Express Jet. Nope, we didn't get to fly anywhere but it is yet another great experience for the pups. Quail didn't fit in the overhead compartment so she sat on the floor :-)
