The festival is over the weekend but we decided to go to see the cherry trees during the week.
I'm glad we went during the week -- it was crowded but probably nowhere near as crowded as it would be over the weekend. And most of the cherry trees were blooming.
After seeing the cherry trees, we realized we have a weeping cherry tree in our front yard.
Two tired dogs...it's always a good thing!

I used to go to that every year and think the same thing -- how unlikely it was that such a huge number of beautiful cherry trees, as well as a festival, existed in Newark!
