Either Quail hasn't learned how to write yet or she is too busy having fun to drop us a postcard. Her sister, Quote, sent a note home and her puppyraisers heard from her on Friday. The first postcard we wait anxiously for is the "my hips are okay and I'm being placed with a trainer" postcard.
This is the longest time we have been without a puppy since we started raising for The Seeing Eye. To ease the deprivation, I've been looking at pix of Quail. She really was a cutie!It drives one of my friends nuts that once our pup leaves, I speak about them in the past tense.
