NASA has a free app for my iPad. I installed it yesterday and I was excited to see that it could tell me exactly when the ISS and Shuttle would be overhead and visible. At 6:57 pm last night, hubby and I went outside to look for the International Space Station and the Space Shuttle.
It took a little bit of searching the night sky, but there they were. Two very bright fast moving lights in the sky -- one bright light in front and one even brighter light trailing behind. We started out in the front yard and then ran through the house to go to the backyard to watch as they zipped across the sky.
We can see them flying by again tonight -- the Space Shuttle at 7:23 and the ISS at 7:25.
